Golf: Salim Ali Salaam Cup a Resounding Success

Record participation, a doubles format and suspense right up to the 18th hole: on the greens of Jnah, the 56th Salim Ali Salaam Cup lived up to all expectations, with 86 players taking part.

Organized by the Beirut Golf Club, the 2025 edition was played in doubles (18 holes) over a compact day lasting around eight hours. With a cosmopolitan field, continuous intensity and tight time management, players had to drive straight, focus on their short game and stay mentally strong.

Net Category – Salim Ali Salaam Cup

1. Mohammad al-Hout / Tony Abou Serhal – 66 pts

2. Ali Zaatari / Ali Hammoud – 67 pts

3. Sheikh Mouss al-Zein / Mohammad Safa – 68 pts

Gross Category – Maha Salaam Cup

1. Sheikh Mouss al-Zein / Mohammad Safa – 71 pts

2. Jalal Ataya / Karim Haidar Ahmad – 79 pts

A friendly atmosphere prevailed during trophy presentation, held in the presence of the president of the Federation and the club, Karim Salaam, along with many figures from the Lebanese golfing world. The winners, al-Hout–Abou Serhal (Net) and Zain–Safa (Gross), made the difference with their consistency and composure in the money-time.
