Mobile network operator Touch announced on Monday that some subscribers using older SIM cards experienced service issues following the overnight migration of its customer base to a new operating system, part of the company’s ongoing upgrade of its CS Core Network.
In a statement, the operator said that its technical teams were working intensively to resolve the disruptions and restore full service for all affected users as quickly as possible. Touch added that it would notify customers once normal operations are fully restored.
The company explained that the migration is a key step toward improving overall service quality, ensuring smoother transitions between 3G and 4G networks, strengthening security standards, and enhancing the network’s ability to adapt to varying levels of demand.
