At HORECA 2025, the Syndicate of Restaurant, Cafe, Nightclub, and Pastry Owners in Lebanon signed a strategic partnership with the Lebanese American University (LAU), paving the way for enhanced educational and professional opportunities in the hospitality sector.
The memorandum of understanding, formalized during the industry event, signals the launch of a collaborative effort between the Syndicate and LAU’s Academy of Continuing Education (ACE) to develop specialized training programs and workshops tailored to the needs of Lebanon’s hotel and restaurant industries.
The initiative will offer practical, hands-on learning experiences accessible across the country, with participants earning internationally recognized certificates from LAU. Courses and training will be led by seasoned professionals, ensuring relevance to current market demands. In a move to further invest in the future of the industry, the Syndicate also announced the creation of the “Restaurant Owners Syndicate Scholarship Fund,” aimed at supporting top-performing students and channeling its proceeds into socially responsible educational initiatives.
