An Israeli strike targeted a vehicle Saturday on the Haruf–Jebchit road in the Nabatiyeh caza, killing one person and injuring another, according to Ministry of Health reports.
The Arabic-language spokesperson for the Israeli army, Avichay Adraee, said that Zein al-Abidine Hussein Ftouni, the commander of the Hezbollah Radwan Unit’s anti-tank missile system, was killed in the strike. According to him, the official “was preparing to rebuild Hezbollah infrastructures” in the area, in violation of the agreements between Israel and Lebanon.
Meanwhile, Israeli reconnaissance aircraft continued to fly over Lebanon, from the South to Beirut’s southern suburbs and as far as Baalbeck.
Since the early hours of the morning, a low-altitude flight was reported over the town of Bint Jbeil, while another drone was flying at medium altitude over Baalbeck, Douris, and nearby areas.
