
Omar Itani, the Chairman of the Board of Beirut Port, announced a significant rise in container traffic in September 2025, with a 35% increase compared to the same period last year.
According to published figures, 80,676 standard containers were handled last month, up from 59,724 in September 2024.
Meanwhile, the container terminal operated by CMA CGM welcomed 80 vessels during the past month, compared to 69 a year earlier, further confirming the port’s growing momentum in maritime and commercial activity.
