Israeli army Arabic-language spokesperson Avichay Adraee announced Monday that the Hezbollah member killed in Sunday’s Israeli airstrike in the Nabatiyeh area of southern Lebanon was Mohammed Ali Yassine.
In a post on X, Adraee said Yassine had been involved in weapons production and development during the war. He added that the operative’s activities “constituted a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon,” stressing that the army would continue acting to eliminate “any threat to the State of Israel.”
