An Israeli drone strike killed one person on Wednesday in the town of Yater, in the Bint Jbeil district of southern Lebanon.
Shortly after, Israeli fighter jets carried out additional strikes on the outskirts of al-Kharayeb in the Tyre district.
Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said the air raids targeted a facility allegedly used for “producing means to support Hezbollah’s rebuilding efforts and terrorist plans.”
In a statement posted on X, Adraee described the presence of what he called a Hezbollah production site in the area as “a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.”
He added that the Israeli military “will continue to act to remove any threat to the State of Israel.”
