A deadly clash broke out along the eastern Lebanese-Syrian border in the vicinity of Syria’s Sarghaya and Lebanon’s Maaraboun, where Lebanese and Syrian smugglers exchanged gunfire.
The confrontation left one Lebanese national, identified as (Z.A.), and one Syrian dead. Another Lebanese, (F.A.), was injured and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
