
An Israeli drone strike in the town of Kfar Dane, in the Baalbeck District, killed Alaa Hani Haidar on Thursday. According to preliminary reports, Haidar was passing near a vehicle that was targeted by two missiles when the strike occurred.
Six people were also killed in another Israeli strike that targeted a vehicle at the Deir Zannoun area along the Lebanese Masnaa road in the Beqaa Valley.
In southern Lebanon, Israeli aerial activity intensified. A reconnaissance aircraft dropped a sound bomb on the outskirts of Naqoura, near the coast, while a drone dropped three additional sound bombs on the outskirts of Wazzani.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese Army (LAF) reportedly discovered two disabled Israeli unmanned ground vehicles, described as “robots,” in the town of Yaroun.
In a separate development, the Public Health Emergency Operations Center at the Ministry of Public Health confirmed that the Israeli airstrike on Deir Siryan (Marjayoun District) on Wednesday night killed a Syrian national and injured two others.
The strike also caused significant damage to vehicles and civilian property in the area.
As a reminder, Israeli fighter jets carried out a wave of airstrikes across southern Lebanon on Wednesday night, including a strike on a parking area for vehicles and bulldozers located adjacent to residential homes in the town of Deir Siryan.
The raids also targeted the outskirts of Deir Siryan, Zawtar, al-Qantara, Yohmor and Taybeh, as well as several valleys across the region.
