The Commander of the Lebanese Armed Forces, General Rodolphe Haykal, took part for the first time in the annual meeting of the Dragon Group in the United Kingdom, at the invitation of his British counterpart, Admiral Tony Radakin.

The Dragon Group is a strategic forum that brings together the chiefs of staff of the armed forces from several Gulf and Middle Eastern countries to discuss key regional and international security challenges.

During his visit, General Haykal held a bilateral meeting with Admiral Radakin focused on strengthening military cooperation amid an increasingly tense regional context.

Established at the initiative of the United Kingdom, the Dragon Group aims to promote high-level military dialogue among MENA region partner forces and to foster better coordination in the face of shared threats.
