Lebanon's 2025 Artificial Intelligence Conference is witnessing an unprecedented wave of interest from Gulf countries, with organizers announcing on Wednesday a sharp rise in registration requests from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and other GCC nations.
This surge of Gulf engagement comes as Lebanon resumes high-level diplomatic and cultural exchanges with the region, marking a potential new era of cooperation, knowledge-sharing, and regional development.
Scheduled for July 21–26, the event will be held under the patronage of Minister of State for Technology and Artificial Intelligence Kamal Shehadeh, with support from the Lebanese Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture. The conference will span five major cities: Beirut, Tripoli, Sidon, Zahle, and Aley.
Organizers have extended the popular AI Bus Tour through August 21 due to strong demand. The mobile initiative, bringing together global AI experts, innovators, and local communities, will now reach additional towns and villages across Mount Lebanon, West Bekaa, Akkar, the South, Shouf, and more.
Conference President Dr. Hikmat Beaini emphasized the symbolic significance of the Gulf’s participation. “AI Lebanon 2025 is more than a tech event, it’s a national journey of openness and innovation, launching from Lebanon to the world,” he said.
