An Israeli drone strike on Thursday killed Mustafa Mohammad Harisi after targeting a pickup truck in the town of Aita al-Shaab, in the Bint Jbeil district of southern Lebanon.
In a separate incident, another Israeli drone fired a missile at a forested area near the outskirts of Bayt Lif, also in the Bint Jbeil district. As firefighting teams approached the scene to extinguish the resulting blaze, the drone reportedly launched a second missile, deliberately hindering their efforts.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces carried out two controlled detonations on al-Hamames Hill, while artillery units shelled the outskirts of Khiam and its adjacent plain with illumination flares. The town of Aita al-Shaab was also subjected to artillery bombardment.
Earlier at dawn, an Israeli ground force breached the Lebanese border near the town of Hula, penetrating approximately 800 meters into Lebanese territory. During the incursion, the force detonated an explosive device that destroyed a livestock shelter near the Abad military position.
