One person was killed and five others were injured on Friday afternoon in an Israeli drone strike that targeted a car traveling on the Nmairiya–Sharqiya road in the Nabatiyeh district. Four missiles were fired at the vehicle.

On the evening, the Arabic-speaking spokesman for the Israeli army, Avichay Adraee, announced that “the Israeli army and Shin Bet had eliminated a terrorist in Lebanon who was working to implement terrorist plans in the north of the country.”

He accused the target, Mohammad Shouaib, of being “a central figure in planning operations inside Israel, working to smuggle weapons into Israel.” He added that Shouaib “was also a central link in the smuggling of weapons from Iran to various areas” in northern Israel and the West Bank, and “was in contact with arms traffickers in Syria and Lebanon.”

Meanwhile, an Israeli patrol crossed the withdrawal line near the town of Kfarchouba, advancing 400 meters into Lebanese territory. Israeli soldiers fired toward shepherds in the area, likely to force them to leave. No injuries were reported.

Another Israeli unit crossed more than 800 meters into Lebanese territory in the vicinity of Blida, in the southern Marjayoun district. During this incursion, Israeli soldiers destroyed a civilian structure in Ghassouna, east of Blida.

This agricultural area, which includes poultry farms, had already been targeted by Israeli fire. The previous day, incendiary bombs had been dropped there.
