The Israeli army announced on Wednesday that troops from the 91st Division are continuing operations along the Lebanese border as part of cross-border operations.
Based on intelligence reports, the army launched targeted missions to dismantle Hezbollah positions and prevent the group from reestablishing a military presence in the area.
In one of the operations on Jabal Blat ridge, forces from the 300th Brigade located and dismantled a site used by Hezbollah, which included weapons storage and firing positions.
In another operation near Labbouneh, reservists from the 9th Brigade discovered weapons hidden in thick vegetation, including a multi-barrel launcher, a heavy machine gun and dozens of explosive devices. The equipment was confiscated and dismantled.
An underground storage facility used for weapons was also located in the area and demolished in an engineering operation.
The Israeli army stated that these operations were meant to prevent further escalation and restrict Hezbollah’s military buildup near the border, in accordance with existing arrangements between Israel and Lebanon.
