As Israel and Iran exchange attacks for the fourth day, an Israeli drone struck the town of Hula in southern Lebanon on Monday, killing one person.

According to local reports, the victim was engaged in beekeeping work on the western outskirts of the town, in the Qadam neighborhood, at the time of the attack.

The Israeli army’s Arabic-language spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, announced on Monday that a Hezbollah operative was killed in a drone strike carried out by Israeli forces in southern Lebanon.

In a statement posted on X platform, Adraee said “Israeli forces eliminated a Hezbollah terrorist operative in the town of Hula in southern Lebanon.”

The strike came amid heightened border activity.

Earlier on Monday, Israeli forces reportedly moved cement blocks to reinforce a military position located inside Lebanese territory along the road between Hula and Markaba. The road, which had been blocked with stones by the Israeli army, was subsequently reopened by the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF).

Additionally, the Israeli army shelled the al-Awaida area near the town of Kfar Kila with a mortar round and fired four artillery shells in the area between Taybeh and Odaisseh in southern Lebanon.

In Beirut, a low-flying Israeli drone was observed over the capital and its suburbs.

On Sunday night, Israeli army positions opened fire with medium-caliber machine guns on the outskirts of Aitaroun, with no casualties reported.
