An Israeli drone strike killed one person on Thursday in the town of Nabatiyeh al-Fawqa, targeting a motorcycle in the latest escalation along the southern Lebanese border.

Shortly after the strike, two Israeli air raids were reported in the Zaghrin area of Jabal al-Rihan, also in southern Lebanon.

Moreover, Israeli warplanes launched two airstrikes on the Jabour area and targeted the Iqlim al-Tuffah heights. The Tibnah area in southern Lebanon was also struck in two separate waves, including raids on Tibnah al-Bisariyeh. In parallel, the outskirts of the town of Aichiyeh were also targeted by Israeli fighter jets.

Earlier in the day, another motorcycle was targeted in Deir Siryan, in the Marjayoun district, injuring a resident from Zawtar al-Sharqiya, according to a statement from the Ministry of Health. A separate Israeli raid was recorded on the town of Qabrikha, and an Israeli fighter jet dropped a stun grenade in the direction of the border village of Dhayra.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese Army (LAF) Command announced that it had taken action to dismantle Israeli earth mounds and reopen blocked roads on the outskirts of Shebaa, in the Hasbaya district. The operation was carried out in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), as part of efforts to monitor the situation and address ongoing Israeli violations.

Earlier on Thursday, LAF made a notable move by transporting vehicles confiscated from Hezbollah from southern Lebanon towards Beirut. The operation signals a potential effort by the military to assert authority in the region.

In the afternoon, a Lebanese Army patrol in the Ramya area came under fire from the Israeli side of the border.

Additionally, LAF personnel were deployed to the Hay al-American neighborhood in the southern suburbs of Beirut. The visit, conducted at the request of the Ceasefire Monitoring Committee, involved the inspection of a building in the area that has long been associated with heightened security concerns.
