The army said that two people, including a Lebanese soldier, were wounded in an Israeli strike in southern Lebanon on Sunday.
“A soldier was slightly wounded by the Israeli enemy who targeted a vehicle at the Beit Yahoun checkpoint,” in the Bint Jbeil district, according to a Lebanese army statement.
The village of Beit Yahoun is about eight kilometers from the Israeli border.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health also reported that two people were wounded, including a soldier, in an attack “by an enemy Israeli drone which targeted a vehicle.”
