The Ministry of Industry unveiled on Wednesday a new expedited postal service, Xpress, designed to streamline document authentication at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Offered by LibanPost, the service is tailored to meet the needs of Lebanese industrialists by ensuring rapid processing, often on the same day.
Service Details
Same-Day Delivery
Requests submitted at the Achrafieh post office between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM will be processed and completed the same day, with documents ready for pickup by 4:30 PM. Processing time is typically between two and three hours from submission.
Next Business Day Delivery
For requests made between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM at LibanPost branches in Mazraa, Hamra, Riad el-Solh, Basta, Chouran, Furn el-Chebbak and Jdeideh, documents will be available for pickup the following business day between 2:00 PM and 4:30 PM.
Delivery Within Two Business Days
Requests submitted between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM at other branches, including Baabda, Hazmieh, Choueifat, Bikfaya and several others, will be processed within two business days. Documents can be picked up at the respective branch between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
Availability and Fees
While the Xpress service is not available yet in all regions of Lebanon, it is currently accessible in key areas. The cost of the service is LBP 600,000, with additional basic processing fees. VAT is included in the total price, regardless of the number of documents submitted.
