Schools in the mountains and in the Beqaa area will be closed on Tuesday because of the wave of cold, generating frost in the morning.
The Ministry of Public Health also announced the closure of all nurseries in areas 500 meters above sea level and higher.
Minister Rakan Nassereddine cited the ongoing frost wave caused by a low-pressure weather system affecting Lebanon as the reason for the precautionary measure.
