The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) disclosed on Friday its provision of a 27 billion Lebanese pound advance to hospitals, bringing the total amount disbursed since the start of the year to approximately 52 billion pounds.

These transfers reflect the NSSF's steadfast commitment to making monthly payments to hospitals, ensuring they can continue operating, providing top-tier healthcare services to insured individuals and treating patients.

Mohammad Karaki, the Director of NSSF, asserted that the combination of the financial advance system and the surgical package system has proven effective in improving hospital services for the insured. The system covers 90% of hospital bills while also providing the immediate liquidity needed to support both hospitals and doctors.
