Israeli army spokesperson Avichae Adraee announced on Wednesday that the troops of the 188th Brigade destroyed underground Hezbollah headquarters connected by a tunnel stretching for “tens of meters.”

Adraee further disclosed on his X account that Hezbollah used this site to launch missiles toward cities and villages in the northern Israeli region of the Western Galilee.

Additionally, Israeli tanks made a significant incursion into the town of Bani Hayan, in the caza of Marjayoun, while troops threw bombs at the houses of the town after bulldozing a house and demolishing the wall of a mosque.

Meanwhile, the Ceasefire Monitoring Committee held a meeting in Ras al-Naqoura, chaired by the United States and hosted by UNIFIL.

“The United States, France, UNIFIL, LAF (Lebanese Armed Forces), and IDF (Israeli army) convened once again in Naqoura, with France providing assistance,” the US and French embassies said in a joint news release.

The statement stressed that “the mechanism will continue to hold frequent meetings in this manner and work closely with UNSCR 1701 to facilitate the implementation of the ceasefire agreement.”

Earlier on Wednesday, the Israeli army indicated that Israeli citizens crossed the border into Lebanon and pitched tents in Maroun al-Ras. The Israeli army also claimed that an investigation into this “serious incident” is underway.

As bulldozers continued to destroy homes in Naqoura for the third consecutive day, Israeli soldiers set off bombs in the towns of Tayr Harfa, al-Jabeen and Chihine in the Tyre district.

Naqoura’s mayor indicated that “since the truce took effect, around 70% of the town has been systematically destroyed by the Israeli iarmy.”

Moreover, starting Wednesday morning, there have been reports of low-altitude drone flights over Beirut and its southern suburbs.
