The fragility of the truce reached on Wednesday between Hezbollah and Israel continues to be closely monitored on the ground.

A massive explosion was heard at dawn on Sunday in the town of Khiam, near the border, where the Israeli Army reportedly detonated several houses and buildings.

The same was reported in the border town of Kfar Kila, according to the local channel al-Jadeed on Sunday morning.

Israeli airstrikes also targeted Yaroun in the Bint Jbeil district, while the vicinity of the village of Arnoun in the Nabatiyeh district was bombarded by Israeli artillery. It should be noted that these villages lie within the border area where the Israeli Army remains deployed for the time being.

According to the Israeli media “Yedioth Ahronoth,” France informed Israel yesterday (Saturday) of 52 Israeli violations of the ceasefire that were not reported through the monitoring mechanism, and warned of the potential collapse of the ceasefire in Lebanon.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Army continues to enforce restrictions on residents of southern Lebanon. The Israeli Army spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, reiterated his call for them to avoid going to the area for now. “Anyone moving south (…) puts themselves in danger,” he warned on his X account.
