Heavy Israeli Strikes on Beirut's Center

Violent Israeli strikes hit the center of Beirut early this morning, at around 4 o'clock. At least four bombs, potentially bunker-buster ammunitions, hit the Basta el-Fawka district and were heard in many other neighborhoods. At least one building was destroyed and several others damaged.

The strikes happened less than a hundred meters from those that targeted a building in the same area on October 10, according to information obtained by the Al Jadeed channel.

Emergency services are on site. According to an initial report, at least four people were killed and thirty-three injured.

A strong smell of smoke quickly spread throughout the capital.

More information to follow.
