South Lebanon: Tensions Increase on the Border
Confrontations between Hezbollah and the Israeli army continue to escalate as Hezbollah, Wednesday at around noon, claimed that it targeted a building where Israeli soldiers are located in Avivim, in response to last night's attack on Hanin.

Later, Israeli army spokesperson Avichae Adraee indicated that they are "attacking Hezbollah targets in South Lebanon."

Israeli warplanes had carried out more than 13 strikes on the outskirts of Aita al-Shaab, Ramya, Jabal Blat and Khallet Warda, in addition to reconnaissance drone flights.

In a statement, they also claimed to have destroyed a rocket-launching platform in Tayr Harfa and a Hezbollah military compound from which Hezbollah operatives launched attacks in Markaba, a military compound in Aita al-Shaab and an observation post in Marwahin, in addition to having fired artillery shells to remove a threat in the Chihine and Kfarchouba areas. No injuries have been reported.

Earlier at 10:00 AM, Hezbollah announced that it had shelled the Rahib position and claimed to have "directly hit the assigned targets."
