At the recent cross-country competition held on the Jnah golf course, Imad Jezzini took first place in the men's race and Joan Makary came first in the women's race. The event, organized in partnership between the Beirut Athletic Raiders Club and the Golf Club, attracted elite runners under the supervision of the Lebanese Athletics Federation.
The competition brought together no fewer than 300 runners representing various sectors such as the security forces, the army, UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon), as well as running clubs and sports enthusiasts. Despite difficult weather conditions, the participants' determination to rise to the challenge created a competitive atmosphere.

The winners of the men's open category received $150, accompanied by a voucher for BRB, while the runner-up received $100 and the third-place finisher $50. In the women's category, Joan Makary took first place, followed by Bryony Stein and Jennifer Tomaso.
The organizers announced that this race, organized by the Beirut Athletic Raiders Club in collaboration with the Golf Club, will become a permanent annual fixture, promising future developments for this competition which successfully combined sporting competitiveness and community spirit.
