- Reporter (Based in Beirut)
Core Responsibilities:
- Investigate and gather information from a variety of sources, including interviews, public records, and eyewitness accounts. (Sometimes this might require reporting from the field when needed, and may require travel).
- Produce clear, concise, and accurate news stories and investigative reports and features (Multimedia skills are a plus).
- Work quickly to report on breaking news as it happens, often under tight deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in journalism and/or research on Lebanon and the Middle East.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Strong research and interviewing abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Adaptability and curiosity
- Strong ethical judgment
