Israeli army carried out multiple incursions into Syrian villages in the Quneitra countryside on Monday evening, a SANA correspondent reported.
A unit of three vehicles entered the village of Ruweihina, establishing a checkpoint near the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) post along the road connecting Ruweihina with the villages of Bir Ajam and Zubaida.
Another Israeli unit, consisting of three Humvee vehicles, advanced into the village of Bariqa, setting up a temporary checkpoint at the Kabbas junction in the village center before withdrawing.
Earlier in the day, a separate incursion involving five Israeli vehicles moved toward the village of al-Samadiyah al-Sharqiyah and continued toward Tal Krum Jaba in the northern part of the province.
Syria condemned Israel’s continued aggressive policies and repeated violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement. These actions, including incursions into southern Syria, arbitrary arrests, forced displacement, property destruction, and plundering of agricultural lands, are deemed illegal under international law.
Damascus reiterated its demand for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Syrian territory and called on the international community to uphold its responsibilities, prevent further violations, and ensure Israel’s full withdrawal from southern Syria in accordance with the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
