- DOCUMENTARY - Iran: The Fall of the Mullahs?
Two years after Hezbollah launched its so-called “support front for Gaza,” Ici Beyrouth and This Is Beirut release an exclusive 20-minute documentary titled “Iran: The Fall of the Mullahs?” on Wednesday, October 8.
Produced by senior reporter Elie Ziadé, with Abd Farchoukh in charge of visual design, editing, and animation, the film offers an in-depth analysis of the regional dynamics and instruments of influence employed by the Islamic Republic of Iran. It examines the regime’s ability to sustain its destabilization strategy in the Middle East, two years after the October 7, 2023 attacks and the subsequent direct and proxy wars waged against Israel.
Drawing on extensive research and insights from leading experts — Alain Rodier (Senior Reporter and Iran specialist), Fahimeh Robiolle (Iranian nuclear scientist, lecturer, activist, and opponent of the regime), and Hanin Ghaddar (Senior Fellow and Researcher at the Washington Institute and expert on Shiite politics) — the documentary explores the ideological roots of Khomeinism, the networks of affiliated militias, the evolution of Iran’s nuclear program, and the enduring threats to regional stability.
Beyond its geopolitical analysis, Iran: The Fall of the Mullahs? offers a rigorous and thought-provoking reflection on the fractures, tensions, and uncertainties that continue to reshape the balance of power across the Middle East.
Premiering October 8 at 6 PM on our website.
