LAF Arrest Suspect in Pascal Suleiman Kidnapping Case

The Lebanese Army (LAF) Intelligence Directorate arrested B.J., a suspect implicated in the 2024 kidnapping and killing of Pascal Sleiman.

In a press release issued Thursday, LAF described the operation as “precision-targeted,” noting that B.J. was among the most wanted individuals, with dozens of arrest warrants for kidnapping, theft, smuggling, and drug trafficking.

The detainee was taken to a military facility for questioning under the supervision of the competent judiciary.

Sleiman, a senior member of the Lebanese Forces (LF) party, was abducted on Sunday, April 7, 2024, while returning from a funeral in Kharbeh in the Jbeil district of Mount Lebanon. He was taken into Syrian territory, where he was subsequently killed, sparking widespread outrage in Lebanon.
