Israel carried out a series of airstrikes on Thursday evening targeting the Beqaa and South Lebanon.

The consecutive raids struck the areas of Brital, Nabi Sreij, Nabi Chit and Nasiriyeh (Baalbeck), as well as parts of Northern Beqaa.

Several strikes also hit Aichiyeh, Mahmoudiya (Jezzine), Dimachkiyeh, Borghoz and Jormok (Tyre), as well as Khardali (Nabatiyeh).

The hills of Janta, near the Lebanese-Syrian border, were also targeted.

.Meanwhile, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that the army is targeting Hezbollah’s largest missile production site in South Lebanon.

These attacks come a day after a speech by Hezbollah’s Secretary-General, Naim Qassem, in which he stated that any withdrawal of Hezbollah forces from south of the Litani River would represent “a gain for Israel.” He also affirmed that his group’s weapons were “a Lebanese internal matter.”

Friday, the Ministry of Health reported that 4 people had been killed in the raids.
