In recent years, demolitions in unrecognized Bedouin villages have surged, with over 8,500 buildings lost since 2023 alone.
To fight back, tribes in Tirabin al-Sana and Abu Krinat are installing solar fields.

These projects not only power schools and kindergartens but also allow the land to be officially registered — a key step in resisting eviction.
With support from the NGO Shamsuna, solar energy has become a powerful tool for survival, recognition, and a greener future.
