MEA Reschedules Flights to Dubai and Doha Due to Regional Tensions

Middle East Airlines (MEA) announced on Tuesday morning that several of its flights to and from Dubai and Doha were canceled the previous evening due to ongoing regional instability.

In an official statement, the Lebanese national carrier explained that, given the current security situation, it was forced to cancel the following flights on the night of June 23, 2025:

  • Flight ME430/ME431 (to and from Dubai)

  • Flight ME434/ME435 (to and from Doha)

  • Flight ME437, which was scheduled to return from Doha to Beirut

  • Flight ME428/ME429 (to and from Dubai), which had to turn back to Beirut mid-flight

To accommodate passengers affected by these cancellations, MEA announced that it would operate additional and rescheduled flights on Tuesday, June 24, according to the following schedule:

Flight details:

  • Flights ME2426/ME2427 are additional flights scheduled to transport all passengers from the canceled ME428/429 flight on June 23, as well as 80 passengers from flight ME430/431, also canceled that evening.

  • Flight ME430/ME431 is a regularly scheduled flight to and from Dubai, and will carry 80 passengers who were unable to travel on June 23.

  • Flights ME432/ME433 are special flights added to carry passengers affected by the cancellation of the Doha route ME434/435 on June 23.

  • As for flight ME437, which was supposed to return from Doha to Beirut on the night of June 23 but was canceled due to the aircraft being rerouted, MEA announced that it will be rescheduled as flight ME1437, set to depart from Doha at 2:00 p.m. on June 24.
