French luxury group Kering has appointed Luca de Meo, the former CEO of Renault, as its new chief executive. The move comes as the group’s flagship brand, Gucci, faces a slowdown in sales, prompting a broader leadership shift aimed at guiding Kering into a new phase of development.
French luxury group Kering announced Monday that it had appointed Luca de Meo, who helped drive automaker Renault out of crisis, its new chief executive as sales at its leading brand Gucci have slumped.
