
According to Iran’s news agency IRNA, multiple car bombs detonated in Tehran after Israeli airstrikes pounded the Iranian capital.
Five bombs exploded in various locations, IRNA reported, with unconfirmed reports suggesting they detonated simultaneously near government buildings.

Footage circulating on social media shows thick black smoke rising from a burning car, as well as windows blown out of surrounding buildings.
Iranian media also reported that the Tehran police headquarters was hit on Sunday, and a number of other targets came under fire as the Israeli bombardment entered its third day.
At least 14 Iranian nuclear scientists have been killed in Israeli airstrikes since the conflict began on Friday, including in two car bomb explosions, according to sources in the Gulf.
