A senior Hezbollah figure was killed on Wednesday morning in an Israeli drone strike targeting a vehicle on the Qaaqaiyet al-Jisr–Wadi Houjeir road in southern Lebanon.

Israeli Channel 12, citing security sources, said the strike targeted a high-ranking official. Al Jadeed identified him as Hussein Naameh, from the village of Kabriha.

Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health confirmed one fatality in the drone strike.

Moreover, an Israeli drone malfunctioned and crashed into a house in Shebaa (Hasbaya district), exploding on impact. No casualties were reported, though material damage occurred.

According to Al Hadath, residents in villages south of the Litani River told the Lebanese Army that weapons had been hidden under their homes without their consent.
