One Person Killed in an Israeli Drone Strike in Southern Lebanon

An Israeli drone strike targeted a vehicle in the town of Kfar Rumman, near Nabatieh in southern Lebanon, on Tuesday evening, killing one person and injuring another.

The identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed. Later during the evening, Hezbollah announced in a statement that the victim was one of its fighters, Adnan Harb. The wounded individual is a Syrian national who happened to be passing near the targeted vehicle.

For its part, the Israeli army said that the target, Adnan Mohammad Sadiq Harb was “the commander of the logistical support unit in Hezbollah's Badr unit, which operates in the northern Litani area”.

The attack took place in the “Nazlet al-Jami’at” area, on the outskirts of Kfar Rumman. Local sources said a drone-fired missile struck a vehicle, causing a large explosion.

Ambulances rushed to the scene, and emergency responders transported the injured to a nearby hospital.
