The Israeli military has intensified its operations against Hezbollah in recent days, targeting operatives and infrastructure in a continued effort to prevent the group’s reconstruction, according to a statement by Israeli Army Arabic spokesperson Avichay Adraee.

In a post on X on Wednesday, Adraee said, “The Israeli army continues its campaign to prevent Hezbollah's reconstruction, including hitting targets involved in attempts to rebuild the organization’s capabilities, and saboteurs who violate understandings and engage in terrorist activities that pose a threat to the residents of the State of Israel.”

Adraee reported that over the past week, Israeli forces eliminated 9 operatives and struck more than 40 Hezbollah-linked sites across Lebanon. Among those killed was Hassan Ali Nasr, identified as the deputy commander of Unit 4400, a figure alleged to have played a key role in rebuilding Hezbollah’s military infrastructure.

The Israeli military also announced the killing of Hussein Izzat Muhammad Atwi, a member of the Islamic Group, and several individuals affiliated with Hezbollah’s elite Radwan Force unit.

Since the beginning of the current understandings between Israel and Lebanon, Adraee stated that over 140 operatives described as “saboteurs” have been killed across Lebanon.

“In addition, more than 40 terrorist infrastructures and weapons belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in southern Lebanon, which posed a threat and violated the understandings, were targeted,” he concluded.
