Until July 6, 2025, the Atelier des Lumières in Paris invites visitors of all ages to step into a glowing, heartfelt universe inspired by The Little Prince. Between animated illustrations, celestial music and the timeless words of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, this is a dreamlike journey into the imagination.

Visiting the Atelier des Lumières until July 6 is like retracing the footsteps of The Little Prince, reliving a nostalgic voyage among the stars and quietly whispering that “what is essential is invisible to the eye.”

Children, parents and dreamers alike are flocking to see the immersive The Little Prince experience, designed in the signature style of the venue. Thanks to Culturespaces Studio, the show draws from the original illustrations and transforms them into a sensory and emotional experience. Saint-Exupéry’s beloved phrases glow on the walls like constellations. Visitors watch as the Little Prince meets the king, the fox, the aviator and even the sly serpent—planet after planet—while a spellbinding soundtrack blends Camille Saint-Saëns, M, Jimi Hendrix and Neil Young.

Then the magic unfolds. The illustrations come to life, with color and movement blanketing the walls, floor and ceiling. The Little Prince, magnified to a larger-than-life scale, gently embraces dreams—welcoming grown-ups with children’s hearts and children with grown-up dreams.

Inside this immersive cosmos, a secret, fleeting, magical space is born. It offers a rare pause from city life—a meditation wrapped in light and words. At the Atelier des Lumières, people truly see with their hearts. Eyes fill with the longing of a Little Prince thirsting for love, friendship, discovery and life itself. Even he once feared a serpent “more powerful than the finger of a king.”

What makes this exhibition so moving is the timelessness of The Little Prince. Since its publication in 1943, Saint-Exupéry’s masterpiece has crossed generations, languages and borders. Its life lessons still ring true today: wonder, connection and seeing with the heart. Whether you’re 7 or 77, you’ll recognize a piece of yourself—nostalgia, tenderness and a light that never fades.

Having returned to his asteroid B-612, the Little Prince defies time and space, transcending even the mystery of Saint-Exupéry’s own disappearance—lost somewhere in the Sahara as both writer and aviator.

To the aviator who once wrote, “If a child comes to you with golden hair and never answers your questions, you’ll know who he is. Please don’t leave me so sad. Write to me quickly to say he’s come back,” we say this: your Little Prince is here, in Paris, at the Atelier des Lumières—if only for a fleeting moment, under the light of a falling star.
