Bruce Springsteen is set to release Tracks II: The Lost Albums, a seven-disc box set featuring 83 previously unreleased songs. Spanning recordings from 1983 to 2018, the collection offers a rare glimpse into decades of material finalized during the pandemic.

American rock legend Bruce Springsteen announced Thursday that he will release a new box set in June featuring 83 previously unreleased songs across seven albums.

Tracks II: The Lost Albums is set to be released on June 27. It includes full albums recorded between 1983 and 2018, many of which were mixed but never officially published, according to a statement Springsteen shared on his website.

“It’s been years now that I’ve played these songs privately, mostly for close friends. I’m thrilled that you’ll finally get a chance to hear them. I hope you enjoy them,” wrote the 75-year-old singer.

In a video released with the announcement, Springsteen explained that he used the COVID-19 pandemic to revisit and finalize material that had been sitting “in the vaults.” The project will be released by Sony Music, which acquired the rights to his music catalog in 2021.

Springsteen’s last studio album, Only the Strong Survive (2022), featured soulful covers of classics by groups like The Four Tops and The Supremes.

Often referred to as “The Boss,” Bruce Springsteen is widely regarded as one of the greatest songwriters of his generation. Known for his electrifying stage presence and poetic storytelling, his influence on American rock and working-class culture has spanned over 50 years. With hits like Born to Run, Dancing in the Dark, and Born in the U.S.A., he has earned 20 Grammy Awards, an Oscar, and a special Tony Award.

Bruce Springsteen is also set to kick off a European tour starting May 14.
