Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, the low-cost airline of the United Arab Emirates, announced on Tuesday the launch of a new direct route connecting Beirut and Abu Dhabi. Starting in June, the service will operate three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, offering budget-friendly fares starting at $61.99.
Positioning itself as the only low-cost carrier providing a direct link between the two cities, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi sees this new route as a strategic move to boost travel between Lebanon and the UAE. The airline emphasizes the opportunity for passengers to access Abu Dhabi—an important cultural and economic hub—at affordable prices.
Wizz Air is offering a special 20% discount on tickets for three days, starting March 18.
“This new route is a milestone for Wizz Air, as it strengthens cultural, tourism and business ties between Beirut and Abu Dhabi,” said Tamara Faloua, Commercial Director of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi.
With this expansion, the airline aims to provide greater connectivity and new travel opportunities for both leisure and business passengers looking to explore or work in these two dynamic cities.
