As we approach the spring season, the OLT20 chart has been highly active, with significant movement and a surge of new releases.
Among these new entries is this week’s number one song on OLT20 “Girl I Want Your Love” from CMK Beats. Charbel Marcel Karkour, known by his stage name CMK Beats, started producing music electronically on his PC in 1996 at the age of 15. Inspired by bands like The Prodigy, Moby and The Chemical Brothers, CMK Beats started his journey as an underground rave music producer and composer.
In 2019, he was discovered and signed by Bentley Records. After releasing several songs—all of which became Top 10 hits on OLT20—CMK Beats dropped his electrifying electro pop song "Girl I Want Your Love" on Valentine’s Day 2025. The song shot straight to the top of the chart, marking his first Lebanese number one hit.
And that’s not all—2025 will also see CMK Beats collaborate with international rap icon Eminem on a track set for release through Bentley Records in the spring. Huge news! We’ll keep you posted.
Of the five new entries on this week’s OLT20, the highest comes from Lebanese music icon Assi EL Hallani with “Aalli Jbinak,” his third consecutive top 3 hit! This new song is doing amazingly well on the local & regional digital platforms and is also on heavy rotation on local radio stations! Will it move to the top of the chart next week?
This week, we also congratulate Al Katrib, who climbs to number 4 on OLT20 with his latest single,“Ankaboot.” Known for his unique songwriting and captivating vocal performances, Al Katrib is the proud cousin of the iconic Salwa Al Katrib. His new single, "The Spider - عنكبوت," marked his comeback as a singer/music producer. In addition to his music catalog, Al Katrib launched JK Music, a creative music and video production house. The artist Al Katrib and JK Music are proudly represented by Ziya Music Label for Gracia Maria.
Finally, the biggest jump of the week comes from Ramy Ayach, whose song “Wala Chi" soars from number 17 to number 3!
