Cell phone operator Alfa announced on Tuesday that it was restoring four stations in the southern border region of Lebanon that were damaged during the war between Hezbollah and Israel. The stations are as follows:

  • The Khiam station covers the regions of Khiam, al-Mari and Helta, as well as the areas of Wazzani, Bourj al-Moulouk, Qlayaa and the outskirts of Kfar Kila.
  • The Taybeh station covers Taybeh and part of Deir Siryan.
  • The Hadatha station covers Hadatha, Aita al-Jabal and most of Tiri, Kounine and Ainata areas.
  • The Beit Lif station covers Beit Lif, Yater and Rashaf.

These four stations join the five previously reopened: Qoubel, Marj, Rachidiyeh, Batoum and Arnoun. Alfa is working closely with the relevant authorities to ensure continuity of service in these areas.
