Russia has expressed its readiness to assist Lebanon in its post-conflict recovery process. On Tuesday, the Russian Ambassador to Lebanon, Alexander Rudakov, stated that Moscow is prepared to consider any official request from Beirut in this regard.

In an interview with the Russian news agency Sputnik, Rudakov emphasized the strong bilateral relations and noted that Russia possesses the necessary resources to facilitate Lebanon's economic revival.

He also recalled that in 2006, Moscow assisted Lebanon by reconstructing nine bridges destroyed during the conflict between Hezbollah and Israel.
Rudakov highlighted the technical complexity of these projects, noting that the initiative was crucial for the resumption of economic activity in Lebanon.
