Simultaneously, Laure Ibrahim from the Mazza Collective will host another drawing workshop at the Media Library, while the Blue Beirut Kids will present a musical storytelling session for ages 3 to 6 from 12:30 PM to 1 PM in the Gallery.
The afternoon is packed with activities, starting with a musical reading of Ralph Doumit’s children’s novel Pauline et Marco from 2:30 PM to 3:15 PM in the Montaigne Hall. From 3:30 PM to 5 PM, Jean-Baptiste Pollien (Jibé) will conduct a drawing workshop at the Media Library, while another storytelling session by the Blue Beirut Kids will take place from 3:30 PM to 4 PM in the Gallery.
For movie enthusiasts aged 8 and above, the Montaigne Cinema will screen Ducobu Président! by Élie Semoun from 4 PM to 5:30 PM. Finally, the event will end on a high note with the “Big Boom” kids’ disco, featuring DJ Hana’M, from 6 PM to 7 PM in the Gallery.
This is a unique opportunity to discover the work of acclaimed French and Lebanese artists and authors, including Aurélie Neyret, Jean-Baptiste Pollien and Ralph Doumit. Admission is free, with no reservation required, and the Café des Lettres will remain open throughout the day to welcome families.
This event is part of the “Rendez-vous Beyrouth Livres” series, organized during the first half of 2025 to celebrate Francophone literature at various locations across Beirut and Lebanon.
