The third day of the Lebanese championship confirmed the dominance of Al-Ansar, who remain at the top of the standings after a 5-0 victory over Riyadi Abbasiye. Thanks to this big win, the Greens now boast an impressive goal difference of +12, an advantage that puts them ahead of their direct rivals despite being tied on points.

Behind them, the battle for the top of the table intensifies. Al-Safa and Tadamon Sour continued their fine start to the season with convincing 2-0 wins, while Al-Ahed, still unbeaten with three wins from three games, confirmed their status as serious title contenders.

Nejmeh SC, on the other hand, are going through a tricky period. After a mixed start to the season, the club suffered a frustrating 1-1 draw against Sagesse, a result which relegated them to sixth place in the standings. Nejmeh's men will have to react quickly if they are to stay in the race at the top.
