Lebanese Regie Reports 2024 Revenue Growth Despite Challenges

The Lebanese Regie for Tobacco and Tombacs achieved a 7% rise in sales and a 14% increase in revenues in 2024, despite Lebanon’s ongoing economic and political challenges, according to its chairman and director, Nassif Seklaoui.

Speaking at a retirement event for employees, Seklaoui highlighted the organization’s resilience and ambitious vision for growth.

He also pledged to strengthen the Regie’s role as a “regional, if not global, center in the tobacco industry.”

In this context, Seklaoui praised the institution’s ability to maintain operations uninterrupted, even during wartime, noting that its factories “did not stop for a single day.”

It is worth noting that this year marks the Regie’s 90th anniversary.
