The Lebanese Army began deploying in the city of Bint Jbeil on Sunday, stationing at roads to prevent travel to towns still occupied by the Israeli army, namely Yaroun, Maroun al-Ras, and Aitaroun.
Motorized reinforcements were sent to Bint Jbeil as part of the army’s redeployment plan in the border area.
Meanwhile, Israeli violations persist in southern Lebanon as one week remains in the 60-day ceasefire agreement between Hezbollah and Israel that took effect on November 27, 2024.
At dawn today, an Israeli bulldozer conducted a bulldozing operation near Bab al-Thaniya, east of the Marjayoun plain. Additionally, the town of Ain Arab experienced an Israeli incursion.
During the day, an Israeli force, including a Merkava tank and a Namer armored personnel carrier, targeted houses on Houla's western outskirts under heavy gunfire before retreating to the eastern outskirts.
In Saida and its eastern outskirts, an Israeli drone flew at a low altitude. Explosions were heard in the eastern mountain range from Lebanese Army shooting fields, as LAF engineering teams detonated unexploded rockets from Israeli aggression in the Beqaa, as it was annonced by the ebanese Army Command.
