As violence continues unabated in south Lebanon, the Israeli air force launched airstrikes on towns and villages on Sunday morning.

Around 2:00 PM, Israeli warplanes struck a residential apartment in Haret Saida, with reports indicating casualties. The Lebanese army immediately closed the road leading from Saida to Haret Saida. According to reports, the targeted apartment housed displaced people from the south. Further information, according to Sky News, claimed that the target was Hussein Fneish, a security official in Hezbollah.

The Public Health Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Health issued a statement announcing that the Israeli raid on Haret Saida killed eight people, and wounded 25 others.

In the town of Yohmor al-Shaqif, air raids targeted homes, destroying them completely or partially, but no casualties were reported.

Additional airstrikes hit Arid Dbin and Adchit in the district of Nabatiyeh.

On Saturday, the Israeli army reportedly rigged the mosque in the border town of Dhayra with explosives, leading to its complete demolition.

The Israeli army also rigged and detonated several homes near a position of the UN peacekeeping force, UNIFIL, in Dhayra, causing their total destruction.

Two people were killed and one injured in an airstrike on the al-Burj al-Shamali area near Tyre, with another person killed in an air attack on Qaaqaiyat al-Jisr.

In the southern suburbs of Beirut, Israeli warplanes launched a series of intense airstrikes, including eight reported early on Sunday, only an hour after warning residents to evacuate residential buildings in Hadath and Burj al-Barajneh. The blasts echoed throughout Beirut, and thick clouds of smoke billowed over the targeted areas.

The Israeli army reported it had attacked sites allegedly used for producing and storing Hezbollah weapons in the southern suburbs overnight and conducted airstrikes on 120 targets across Lebanon in the past 24 hours. The army also claimed it had killed 70 Hezbollah members in recent hours.

In response, Hezbollah announced it had attacked an Israeli military industry facility with drones southeast of Akka.

Additionally, sirens sounded in Kiryat Shmona and surrounding areas amid fears of a drone infiltration.

“We detected a drone launched from Lebanon that crashed in the Barlev Industrial Area in Western Galilee. An investigation is underway, and four people were injured due to the drone explosion,” the Israeli army stated.
