Overview of the AFC Challenge League

The AFC Challenge League is a football competition organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) aimed at national teams from developing countries. This tournament was created to provide a platform for lower-ranked nations to compete at the international level and to promote the development of football in these countries.

The tournament begins with a qualifying phase, where teams compete in groups. The best teams then advance to the knockout stage, culminating in a final where the champion is crowned.

Despite the ongoing war in Lebanon, Nejme SC is currently at the top of its group in this championship taking place in Bhutan. The Lebanese team's next match is scheduled for Tuesday at 1:00 PM Beirut time against the Bhutanese team Paro FC.
