Beirut

In the latest developments, plumes of smoke are still rising from the site that was hit by violent Israeli airstrikes on Wednesday night in the Haret Hreik area of Beirut's southern suburbs. The total number of Israeli raids on Beirut's southern suburbs has reached 17, occurring while a civilian airplane was landing around midnight.

South

In the South, Israeli warplanes targeted a house in the town of Yater, resulting in multiple fatalities.

The Lebanese Army stated that “the Israeli army targeted Lebanese Army personnel on the outskirts of the town of Yater, Bint Jbeil, while they were carrying out an operation to evacuate the wounded, resulting in the death of three, including an officer.”

Israeli airstrikes also targeted the towns of Aitaroun, Wadi Barghouz, Khiam, Tibnin, Sultaniya, Taybeh, Hanin, and the outskirts of Ain Baal.

At dawn, the aircraft targeted the headquarters of the Health Authority in the town of al-Bazouriya, causing minor injuries. Additionally, the towns of Aita al-Shaab and Ramiyeh, along with the outskirts of Rmeish and Hanin, were subjected to artillery shelling and heavy machine-gun fire. There were also confrontations between the Israeli army and Hezbollah on the same front, resulting in a significant number of Israeli soldiers being killed and injured. Israeli helicopters were seen landing at the site more than five times.

Israeli forces also opened fire with heavy machine guns at dawn towards the outskirts of the towns of Naqoura, Jabal al-Lubn, and Alma al-Shaab.

The airstrike on the Kassar Zaatar neighborhood in the city of Nabatieh yesterday destroyed a building and caused extensive damage to nearby structures and homes.

Israel

Meanwhile, Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee announced that Israeli Air Force planes had targeted more than 160 Hezbollah sites, including rocket launchers, military buildings, and infrastructure across Lebanon.

He stated that the Israeli army had discovered a Hezbollah hideout along with dozens of weapons, including Kalashnikov rifles and shoulder-fired missiles, inside a house in southern Lebanon. Combat equipment was also found, including rocket launchers, mortars, and ammunition depots containing hundreds of anti-tank missiles and mortar shells.
